About Us

The FOOD JUSTICE NETWORK is a grassroots made up of individuals, communities and organisations working to attain food justice. It seeks to strengthen farmers and communities to interrogate policies that are hampering food sovereignty whilst advocating for equitable access to nutritious food, and promoting sustainable and just agricultural practices. It is concerned about the depletion of indigenous knowledge and the impacts of climate change on food systems and seeks to engage all stakeholders to shift from aggressive methods of production, irresponsible consumption and waste to regenerative food systems.
